I have used this toothpaste a few years for my little dog and it has always smelled like mint. I purchased the last toothpaste in January and the smell is disgusting. I cannot use it anymore and I'm annoyed because it smelled fine and one day went completely bad with a sour smell and I stocked up wit two tubes. Disappointed and I feel bad for my dog because he had that nasty paste inside his mouth.

My pup comes running every day when it is time to brush her teeth at bedtime. I use a 360 silicon brush with some Vets Best smeared on it and let her chew a bit all around. My vet recommends toothpastes with enzymes and not to worry about lots of brushing, but just getting the toothpaste distributed. Our yearly checkup was recently and her “teeth look great!” I like that it is fresh smelling. My only complaint is my latest tube came with a broken hinge, so I cleaned up the old cap and used it.

Super surprised at how well this worked. I was noticing some rather rank breath coming from my poodle's mouth, but upon inspection there wasn't any noticeable tartar or much plaque buildup. She's only 2 so I didn't suspect any deeper tooth or gum disease. No offense, but her breath still just stank. I brushed her teeth with a normal soft toothbrush and this toothpaste. She didn't like it much, so I only brushed for 20-30 seconds. I didn't have high hopes, but whatever enzyme or ingredients they put in here really works. It's been almost a week, and her breath is still fresh. I think I'll have to work this into our routine weekly, even if she protests.

Been using a few months…instantly makes our dogs bad breath away especially when they eat something yucky. We have purchased another tube used up the first one so a repeat customer because product really works and dogs love the flavor they are excited me to give it to them.

I read that enzymatic toothpaste / gel works the best for plaque removal on dogs so we got this. We have a female Doberman who will be 8 years old in March 2024 (next month) and a 6 year old male Doberman although they’ve been given chews all their lives and some no brushing required type gel , our female Doberman started getting very fishy breath all the sudden. I noticed a little bit of tan/brown starting to build on her back teeth. (But teeth still in really good shape) and is already starting to remove it. The fishy breath is gone and at this point is just a faint doggy smelling breath. As for our male doberman his teeth don’t have any tartar build up but we are now using this on him as well for prevention. Neither one of them mind the taste . Our girl tolerates it but our boy actually SITS and eagerly waits for his teeth to be brushed . Must be the grape flavor. Will try to remember to update later on .
