Same great smell, much less potent

As stated in the title, I feel that the smell is just about the same as 18 years ago when I got my first bottle of AdG in high school, perhaps with some very minor differences— but I’d say it’s as I remember it. However, it is MUCH less potent than it used to be. It has a very diminished silage and it doesn’t project at all. Maybe in the summer in sunlight it will be more prominent, but in the winter, it is basically a skin scent that you need to be right up next to the sprayed skin in order to smell it. I know that it’s not just me, because others in my family have said the same thing.

Honestly, the way it is now, it’s not worth nearly 70 bucks for a 3.4 oz bottle. Get Perry Ellis 360 Red instead— it is 90% similar and a 3.4 oz bottle is found for less than 20 bucks in some places and you don’t need to worry about it being fake. It smells better because it has a mild spicy cinnamon note in addition to the AdG-esque smell. 3/5 at most for AdG, I don’t recommend it.

I bought a bottle of this over 10 years ago and received nothing but compliments. However, after a full bottle, you get the itch to try something else. However, the fragrances kept seeming to get stronger and more potent, to the point a single spray was almost obnoxious.

So I tried my luck with this once again, and I remember why this is such a classic. Floral and citrus tones that aren't overpowering. A single spray lasts all day, no need for multiple bursts. And I still receive compliments on it.

This might be my all-time favorite.

The pros:

* Makes me smell good.
* Inexpensive, good for daily casual use.
* Decent quantity for the price.
* Nice container.

The cons:

* Does not make me invisible. Even if applied twice a day.
* Has no bat-repelling qualities.
* Fails to attract supermodels from a distance greater than 5 kilometers. Also distances less that 5 kilometers.
* A very poor substitute for diesel fuel.

On the whole, I am very pleased with this product, although I would encourage Armani to work on the invisibility issue.
