I was pleased that the sewing machine arrived so quickly. It was easy to set up and the first time I used it I was in love with it. It runs so quietly and the stitching quality is excellent. It comes with an easy to follow instruction manual and all the accessories that I regularly use. The price was excellent. I have used Singer sewing machines all of my life and never have been disappointed. I highly recommend this product and the seller.

Cheaply Made/Constant Issues

This product is a huge headache. Please save your money and invest in a better machine/brand. I purchased this machine for my mom to make mask. It has been serviced 5 times since May 2020. It worked for 1 day before I had to bring it in for the 1st service. I wish I would have returned it. Easy to use, but cheaply made. Constant problems with needle goin off track... A WASTE!

I was trying to be frugal and got a mini machine before this. All I got was frustration because it wouldn't do the sewing I needed for my craft projects. I learned to sew on a Singer machine, so I was happy to see this machine at a reasonable price. My Singer is singing :) It runs so smoothly and was able to sew cotton linings onto my cotton and acrylic crochet projects (masks and purses). So happy!

This would be my second Singer sewing machine I bought on Amazon. It was not completely clear this was an "used" machine until after I had placed the item on my shopping car. The price of the item, for something "used" was too high and I believe the store sold it like that because of the pandemic going on, and because right now sewing machines are in high demand to saw masks, and and all other machines I wanted were out of stock when I needed to place my order, and needless to say, I ordered what was available. My first Singer machine, which I bought about 3 years ago and from anothe seller, came on its own sturdy, carrying on case, however, this new sewing machine, came with a very cheap looking cover and nothing else. (It looks like a disposable, viodegradable type of material) It also looked like, someone had been testing the machine, and a piece of cloth was attached to the foot of the sewing machine, with multiple stiches sewn and threated and all and the most disturbing part is that the only needed was actually attached to the machine. This machine has 10 different type of stiches and they are all messed up. If you choose the zig zag stich, it actually changes the stich to a different patter for a while and then, the stiches start to be the regular stich. (Without me making any adjustements) I do not recomend you buy from this vendor and if you do, make sure they are selling you a brand new product. Not a good experience at all and I will make sure I will not buy from this merchant again!!

This product has given me nothing but trouble. The only real good thing is that I bought the protection plan. I found out through Singer that the seller, Global Industrial Supplier is an unauthorized vendor of Singer therefore my Singer Tradition 2250 has no warranty through Singer.

The top thread continues to nest under the fabric and no matter what I did (buy new thread, change the needle, clean the bobbin, etc.) nothing solved the problem. I feel the problem is happening because of the poor assembling of the machine. I provided picture with this review and with my complaint to the seller. How would I know that the seller of a product is an unauthorized vendor if they’re selling a name brand item. I have a real problem with that. I just hope my machine get fixed or I’m call ABC channel 7 news I-Team.

Today is July 31, 2020 and I want to continue with my review because of the outcome of my repair service. The outcome was and I quote: “Upon checking here on the notes by our Service Depot, your Sewing Machine is no longer repairable so they just submitted a recommendation on 07/30/***** to Buyout it, meaning we will just provide you a reimbursement in a form of an e-giftcard from Amazon. The amount will be $*****.62.” end of quote. I thought I was purchasing what I thought was a brand new sewing machine from a respectable company, Singer just to find out that the company Global Industrial Supplies was the seller and a unauthorized vendor according to Singer (Meaning NO WARRANTY FROM SINGER). On top of that the machine was manufactured in Vietnam. My final thoughts are and I want to make this very clear: when purchasing something expensive off Amazon or any third party company 1. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE SELLER OF THE PRODUCT IS AN AUTHORIZED VENDOR OF THAT SPECIFIC COMPANY!! 2. Purchase the protection plan that is offered.
