A big improvement over the previous BG2020 design, and works well.
After my old Norelco trimmer started having issues, I decided to try this new model, which turns out to work just as well, and has addressed most of my problems with the old model. This new BG2028 is a little larger, longer, and feels more solid than 2020, with more flare to the handle to provide a better grip. The hard, plastic-covered switch feels like it will last longer than the old rubber-covered switch on the 2020, which used to get stuck periodically.
The combs now lock tightly onto the trimmer, and also seem to have a smoother surface-- no more having them pop off during use from the friction against my skin. The cutting foil also seems to fit more tightly into the head (that also used to pop off). Another plus is that recharge time seems shorter now.
On the negative, as with the old trimmer, the cutter that comes with the new trimmer doesn't seem as sharp as the replacement blades-- cutting performance improves surprisingly much after the first blade replacement. While this unit is still advertised as working dry or wet, the wet performance remains poor-- hair gets matted down with water, the wet hair bits stick to the cutter, and the combs don't glide as well with the friction of damp skin. I treat this unit as dry-use only that just happens to be fine to rinse under running water.

This is a nice compact product. The electric razor itself is lighter than I expected it to be. By switching to this electric razor, I reduced my shave time from 1hr and 45min to just 45min! All you have to do is just slide it across whatever you're shaving, and the hair instantly falls off! Sure, some areas you will have to go over twice, but it still gets the job done better than a manual razor would! This product is waterproof, so you can shave and bathe with ease! The blade can be cleaned out and it comes with this mini 2-sided brush to get into the grooves of the blades if you want a deeper clean. i would say that the only negative thing about this electric blade is the noise it makes. It's fairly noisy and you won't be able to shave in discretion if that's what you're wanting to do. other than that one downside, the product is brilliant and well worth the price for the good job it does.
