Awe.. this toy is even cuter in person than in the pictures. My 11 week old Husky loves it. I jus got her on Wednesday, went a lil overboard on toys, dnt want her getting board and chewing on my ish. Lol 🧸🤭🥰 Anyway... she absolutely loves this toy. We played with it for a while, went out and when we came back in the roo. She jumped up on the bed and went right back to it. And is now cuddle up sleeping on it. L😍L
I have always had pits so in the past have always had to look for the strongest toys possible, so they would last longer than jus a millisecond. This doesn't really seem like it would stand up to the pit test. I DO think it would last a while tho. For other non aggressive/destructive chewers this toy frkn ROCKS! Its super cute, the texture is different than I had expected, but better. We love it! 10 out of 10 we highly recommend! 🤗
Side note. Plz dnt judge my mess. I had to stack everything up in a corner when I brought her home and haven't had time to organize it all into a "safer" spot. Lol if u read this far. Thanks 😊 have an amazingly blessed day. ✨️

I adopted a chewer - no doubt about it!! The only thing/toy we’ve been able to sustain for more than 10 minutes (literally) was the black Kong chew toy. We are three months into having our sweet girl and we just this week needed to replace her black Kong!
When I saw this toy as Kong-made and for tough chewers, I had high hopes!! Super cute hippo, very little “guts” to pull out, and seemed to be durable.
I was wrong.
My sweet pibble had the 1st squeaker and MANY guys out within 10 minutes - we had to snip the last corner of the bag (that contained the squeaker) that was attached to the hippo - we were afraid she would free it and swallow it while we were having dinner.
So she was still quiet and chewing during dinner, we could hear some fabric tearing but took heart that there was a rope toy under it all, she’d be fine.
As the pics show, the hippo was not fine. We had a hippo homicide right under us as we ate. Little Miss had unbraided the rope on one of the legs (?) and found a second squeaker (that was a BEAR to get her to release) during her quiet time.
She is currently in her condo with the remnants of her new hippo friend because there is rain (and she doesn’t do storms, or thoughts of storms), and seems fine with her now pile of fabric to ease her little mind.
I would have loved to have more than 30 minutes of worry-free chewing for our girl, but I guess we are still on the lookout.

Our American Shepherd is a chew toy terrorist. Chew sticks (we do non-rawhide) that says HOURS of chewing "fun" are gone in under 10 minutes. We have been very lucky as he has never chewed anything other than his toys - no electronics, no furniture, no shoes. I was told by our vet to buy Kong toys and deer antlers. The poor reindeer's antlers disappeared on the first day, the elephant lasted just under 1 month, fox lasted maybe 2 weeks. His antler bones last maybe 1 month but we have to watch and throw them away when they start getting slim and pointy. The bear lasted less than 1 week when he tore off the bottom of the feet and stuffing emerged along with the rope. Right now the only toy that has lasted more than 2 months is the alligator - a mix of hard and soft rubber. But he is working on it.
If there is an indestructible furry toy out there - please let us know as Butch loves to carry his babies around and then settling down with them and gnawing.
