This product rolls on, which is nice, but irrelevant since it doesn't work--at least not in South Florida. It also doesn't smell good and it feels a bit oily.

We took our grandson to Disney World in late April 2019. While I'm a person who steps outside & tans, grandson & hubby are defin. "porcelain" skin -- so pale they step outside & burn immed.!
This product kept us ALL from sun damage the entire 8 days we were in FL. It's not greasy, sticky, or slimy. Doesn't drip in eyes when sweating to double your prblms. You can put this on squiggly kids in a second. SO EASY to reapply -- no need to wash hands every time either.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Best sunscreen we've ever used. Only drawback for some is yes, there is a very light citrusy scent (that disappears quickly). I will say: it's not zinc oxide, as it doesn't block EVERYthing, but some sun is necessary to keep one healthy, as well as a teeny bit of "base" tan (so one doesn't turn into crispy critter being outside for 10-15 min.) You will love it! Can't say enuf great things! But esp. for kiddos -- wiggle worms will be able to stand a stick sunscreen that takes no time to get on 'em 😉

Perfect for the fishing boat

I do not allow spray sunscreen on my boat as it will get on the gear and fish are very sensitive to scents. This is perfect since it's solid and can be applied the same way you use antiperspirant. It works great, is easily applied and doesn't get anywhere you don't want it to get.

How I review:
When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then add and/subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.
1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four star rating
2. If an item surpasses my expectations it will gain a star (5 Stars)
3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations it will lose a star (3 Stars)
4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations
5. If a product is significantly below my expectations I will deduct two stars
6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four star product receives a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one star

I have very sensitive skin, which breaks out in reaction to most zinc skin products. I also have photophobia that brings on migrains. You can see how this might make choosing sun protection difficult without looking like an extra Tuskan from Tattoine. Passed the zinc dermatitis to my youngling, poor guy.

Well enter this sunscreen bar, and the super quick application to toddlers moving faster than the Millennium Falcon on a Kessel Run.

It has a very light mineral smell, didn't bother my head at all. You won't be smelling like C3PO with sand everywhere, and won't end up looking like Darth Maul at the end of the day either.

All, in all pretty good stuff to keep on you, in the event you ever happen to be scooped up and taken on an adventure to another galaxy. It would probably work just as well on a beach not so far, far away too.

Easiest way to wear sunscreen every day

I am an avid sunscreen wearer. Being very fair-complected, I have tried so many different kinds of sunscreens from creams to gels to powders and had a hard time finding "the one". While other brands may work well, it's a hassle to apply it every morning and then every two hours for reapplication. I love this stick because it makes it so easy to apply every morning to my face, arms, neck, and chest. It isn't greasy and doesn't burn my eyes. I even carry an extra in my purse so I can reapply it later. The smell is very mild and doesn't smell like how sunscreen usually does (a HUGE plus for me.) The sun protection is great; I have yet to get a burn. This is "the one" for me. It makes my sunscreen routine fast, easy, and it fits into my lifestyle perfectly.

A good solid sunblock to keep in the car.

I had a precancerous lesion removed from the left side of my face, which apparently is not uncommon in people who drive a lot. I decided I needed sunblock for the car, so I would never be without it. I looked for something that would survive both heat and cold, without melting, bursting or losing quality. This solid stick fit the bill. It gets softer in the heat, but not runny. In winter, the stick will warm up as you rub it on. I live in the PNW, so if you are in Minnesota or Florida your results may vary.

The stick glides on readily. It is handy for spot treatments, but rather tedious to apply over large areas. Once it is on, you can use your fingertips to squidge it around and get full coverage. I do not notice a greasy feel with this sunblock, and I don't notice any odor.

If you are just using it as I do, primarily for the face, it will last a long time and be reasonably economical. If you need something to slather over your whole body, I would say get a lotion.

No hog wrestling necessary - Just fun in the sun

This handy dandy sunscreen stick is convenient to keep in a purse, small enough my kids don't mind carrying it in their backpacks, and super easy to apply (even my 6 year old can handle using this on her own.) We primarily use this stick for our faces. No more "hog wrestling" to get sunscreen applied to children's faces because this glides on fast and easy and doesn't have a strong smell. It doesn't run into the eyes (NO STING!) and you can apply it fairly close to eyes and lips. We've yet to get a burn while using this product. I added it to our subscribe and save since it's a summertime staple in our home.
I've tried other sunscreen sticks and they leave a white or color residue on the skin. This goes on clear and stays on long.

Bees love this sunscreen

I keep this sunscreen stick in my golf bag for times when applying lotion is not desirable. Specifically, when you want to reapply without putting greasy lotion all over your hands, and there is no restroom nearby to wash up. I put sunscreen on my face, neck and forearms and this product covers all those bases so I like it. I do think that the stick doesn't provide quite as much coverage unless you spread it around a bit, but using your hands to do that would defeat the purpose so I just live with it.

One thing I don't like about this product is that in my opinion it is a little too soft. In hot weather, it seems to spread a bit too thick and gets caked on.

The last thing I will say is that pollinating insects -- bees and bumblebees -- seem to love this stuff. On multiple occasions I have had bees try to land on my face within minutes of applying this sunscreen. I think that it is the scent -- bees find it irresistible! After a few minutes of circling frantically around my head, the disappointed bee will realize that I am not a giant flower so they fly away. But it is very unnerving to have a bee suddenly fly into your face out of nowhere. They are very persistent, too. If you are allergic to bees, you might want exercise caution.
