Lucy Pug Loves Her New Balls!
Lucy Pug loves these extra small balls that squeak. She had balls made of tennis ball fabric for years but they wore her teeth down. These Kong balls are supposed to be non-abrasive, so we changed to them upon her dentist's advice. It still seems like her teeth have worn down a little since she's gotten this brand, but much less than they would have, I'm sure. She loves that they squeak! She chews on them a lot, so the squeaker is dislodged eventually. But the ball doesn't crack and open up unless I've kept it around for a very long time. The squeaker has never come out, even though it does rattle around in the ball after a certain amount of chewing dislodges it. When that happens, it's usually time for a clean new ball anyway.
