Fits 1" wide binding but crushes it down to 1/4". I needed a binding foot to fold 1" down to 1/2". I'm super disappointed this was not mentioned anywhere

Makes 1/4" applied binding. Cut 1" strips. Feed it through the coily thingy. Sandwich your fabric to be binded (prolly not a word) between the top/bottom of the bias tape. Sew. Saves the step of pre-folding and ironing your bias strips. It really does work nicely. There are no directions with it. Trial and error or search for a youtubez video. there are a few out there. A 1/2" version would be far more useful, but I'll find a use for this on something. Seems like a good tool to have in the presser foot arsenal.

After a ton of searching to try to find an easier way to make thin straps, a friend suggested a foot that looks like this one as her 'saving grace'. Sadly there is zero instructions with the product as to how to use it or even a code to scan or website to go to. I'm sure the product is great if you know how to use it, but if you are trying to teach yourself you have zero to go off of.
