Believe me I've tried all types of "thickening" and "volumizing" shampoos and they seldom measure up to the hype. I've got a number of shampoo bottles in my cabinet that I probably will end up throwing out, that promised a lot but did not deliver. Was genuinely impressed with this one. The shampoo itself is more viscous than most, you don't need much and you can feel it in your wet hair as you lather, that it's more gummy and denser than normal. After washing and blow drying I could definitely see the difference in apparent thickness and volume. Only downside is it's more expensive than others also, 8oz for about $20. But if it works...

As to hair loss after several uses it seems to be half of what it was. Was afraid I would need a wig. I also used the Biotin hair thickening serum. Makes hair much thicker. Yes a small spray of hair spray to hold the fluffed up hair and I’m good to go with minimal touch ups of spray for a few days.
