This heat/cool cap does wonders!! When doing my treatment day, this stays hot for over 10 minutes and only took 2.5 minutes to get to that state.

When I first was purchasing the item, there were some reviews about the band being too tight or the entire cap feeling small, BUT, that's far from the case. It was tight fitting the first time I used it, but that's expected and I want it to be able to stay on my head while I do some work around the house.

I love my thermal caps. I use them to deep condition both of my daughter's hair. I found out very fast that they can get very hot ( a little too hot) if your not careful with your microwave time. I had to ignore the instructions for the microwave time and just warm them for 45 seconds to 1 minute because more time would be too hot on my daughter's scalps. The caps are a little heavy but after using them, I understand why. Great experience with them.

This is your standard gel filled heat cap. It does it’s job and stays warm (not hot, hot) for 20 minutes when microwaved for two minutes. The cap isn’t the most comfortable thing you’ll have on your head but you can make it fit and feel better by flipping it inside out. The seam on the inside is right on the band and can make it feel tighter than it is. When I flipped mine it was instantly night and day difference between “goodbye!” and “good buy!”
