The time required to transition your dog from commercial dog food to fresh, high-quality JustFoodForDogs whole food, can vary depending on the age and sensitivity of your dog, but in general, it takes about 5-10 days. Once your dog is fully transitioned onto a whole food diet, the need for transition is over and he or she is free to enjoy all of our recipes. Our Pantry Fresh Lamb & Brown Rice is intended for adult dogs. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, we recommend starting with Chicken or Turkey first. Please transition dogs onto the JustFoodForDogs recipes for best results. Easy-to-follow steps to walk your dog through their switch Days 1-3: Replace 25% of your dog's current food with the new JFFD recipe. Days 4-7: Replace 50% of your dog's current food with the new JFFD recipe. Days 8-10: Replace 75% of your dog's current food with the new JFFD recipe. Day 11: Transition is complete. Once your dog has acclimated to JustFoodForDogs you will probably notice significant improvements. This meal was absolutely fresh and I love that I can see the ingredient of his food so I know exactly what my dog is eating. I added fresh broccoli and carrots to the meal and my dog loved it. Licked the bowl clean. Great convenient containers that are perfect for trips. The only downside is that while this is great quality dog food, it is expensive. I wouldn’t be able to give this to my dog on a consistent basis but it’s a good topper or addition to his normal diet. I’d recommend at least giving it a try for your pup.

My Pit has a sensitive stomach and loves to eat poop. Of course the only food items she loves are chicken, cheese and butter...all the dairy that is not good for her. So, our Vet recommended Just Food For Dogs( he practically guaranteed it)...which she will not eat. We have tried Nom, Fresh Pet, Crafted by humans and still she doesn't like it...so, scrambled eggs for breakfast and the rest is trial and error...but, I have to say the Just food for dogs has great vegetables and looks excellent. The only drawback is that when you order online you get several packets and if the dog doesn't like it, you are stuck

I’ve been using this product for my Dacshund for over a year and they’ve been fantastic but my last shipment was entirely spoiled. The food smelled funny and had a bad consistency. Amazon issued a refund and I re ordered but be cautious here. I’m surprised something like that passed quality control

Fresh products. My Dogs absolutely love this product. I have tried many different products and this one is a hit. Natural, easy on their digestive system and teeth. It has all natural ingredients, along with traceable ingredients from the producers. You can easily get in touch with them as well if you have questions. **** The package can be upgraded IMHO as it can be at times a pain to open as it squirts out. Open over the sink and you'll have to wash up, wash your scissor and counter. Best to open inside the sink. To get all the product out of the box rinse with a little bit of warm water and put in the bowl. The smell is not over the top compared with other brands. Also the pound per Dog weight ratio is good. My boys are happy and healthy.
