I bought this for aesthetic reasons more than practical ones, but I will be able to use most of it. The scissors are sharp, and will be great for using when I embroider. The needle case is perfect for all my embroidery needles to be in one spot. The lid fits snugly. I can use the awl to make holes for cosplay corset lacing. The only thing not useful is the thimble, which not surprisingly, doesn't fit. I didn't expect it to, I've never found a thimble that fits me. I don't know what the needle shaped thing is for. The description here says it's a threader, but I can't imagine how that would work. A darning needle, maybe? It's a nice decorative piece, though.

I would recommend this set for anyone who likes pretty aesthetic things when they do any kind of needle work, or just wants a sewing-based decoration. The quality is pretty good for a replica piece.
